Tompkins County Public Library will help local families kick-off Spring Break with two free screenings of “The Good Dinosaur,” Monday, April 25.
At 11 a.m., the Library will offer a screening especially for children with sensory integration challenges. Sensory tools such as weighted lap pads and noise-canceling headphones will be available. Lights will remain on and children will be encouraged to make themselves comfortable by moving around and making noise.
A second screening, open to all families, will be held at 1 p.m.. Both screenings will take place in the Thaler/Howell Programming Room.
“The Good Dinosaur” follows Arlo the Apatosaurus as he forges an unlikely friendship with a human. It is rated PG and most appropriate for children seven and older.
Refreshments will be provided.
